Created with a genuine desire to support Year 12 students sitting the HSC, this 2 part workshop, teaches simple techniques and strategies for you to find balance and clarity, to enable you to perform at your best, without stress getting in the way.
Stress is held in our mind and our body. It shows up as anxiety, trouble sleeping, fatigue, moodiness, poor concentration, headaches and digestion issues, just to name a few symptoms. Through simple relaxation techniques and goal achieving exercises, for the body and the mind, you can create the path to breeze through the exams and out into the big wide world.
This is small group of only 9 students, allowing great care and attention for everyone. This workshop is the perfect doorway in supporting you, our future leaders, to know that life is about knowing how to enjoy the journey towards reaching the destination.

Workshop Part 1: Clear and Connect with Angela Murphy
Working with understanding energy flow and restorative yoga, you will learn how to clear blocks, fears and worries, greatly improving concentration and energy levels. A guided meditation for self worth, confidence and creativity will connect you with your inner strength and wisdom, assisting in your ability to easily recall your knowledge at exam time.

Workshop Part 2: Clarify and Create- Kim Townsend
To achieve your goals, a combination of clarity and creativity is required. Through mindfulness techniques you will get clarity of your desired goals, then get creative and take the goals out of your head, on to your vision board. Learn how to tune into the creating great outcomes, staying calm and focused.

Workshop Part 1: Angela Murphy
Angela Murphy, owner of Mindful Living Space, has been teaching Yoga and Meditation for nearly 20 years working with all ages, kids, teens, adults and seniors. She practices conscious and intuitive yoga which greatly calms the brain and allows the energy to flow through the body and Flow leads to glow!
Workshop Part 2: Kim Townsend
Kim Townsend has guided 2 of her own children through the HSC process, and worked 1:1 with HSC students as a Teachers Aide. She is Meditation Teacher, Life Coach, Holistic Counsellor, and has a Cert IV in Fine Arts. She knows that fear and stress gets in the way of achieving our goals, and our ability to feel calm and confident in life. She is passionate about changing attitudes around stress, by shifting the focus from stress management to stress prevention. Enabling young people to learn these strategies, early in life, is super exciting.
